Nancy GatiThe Manchester St. Patrick’s Parade Committee announced the 2010 Thomas J. King Award recipient is Nancy Gati, an educator, humanitarian, fund raiser and advocate for the needy. Mrs. Gati has been teaching at Hillside Middle School for 30 years, where she consistently tries to empower her students to work at improving their community. She facilitates student participation in the Annual Walk Against Hunger, which effort raised $8,950 last year. She was honored by New Horizons for her students’ financial support of the Soup Kitchen’s 2009 Thanksgiving Breakfast.
